The in-person rAge Expo is back in 2022 between 9th and 11th December, as South Africa’s beloved convention of all things gaming, cosplay, geek culture and more returns to glory.
Fans will converge on the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand, Johannesburg next month not only for the convention itself, but also for the irreplaceable NAG LAN which is also back to its full glory.
Attendees can look forward to the latest games playable on the floor, tonnes of stalls to shop at, esports contests throughout and even rAgeX, a special sub-event focused on VR and the Metaverse. Cosplay has always been a big part of rAge and 2022 will be no different with the annual Cosplay Competition already accepting entries.

This year we’ve teamed up with rAge to give away five pairs of double day pass tickets to attend. This means that five winners will each get a pair of tickets so they can take their partner, friend, family member or even a stranger with them to the biggest event on the South African geek calendar.
