• TCL recently unveiled a new lineup of Google-supporting smart TVs for South Africa.
• The company says it has seen an increased demand for its products in recent months. 
• It will now be making its TVs available to purchase from selected Pick n Pay Hypermarket stores across the country.

Only a few weeks ago, TCL announced a lineup of Google-supporting TVs for the South African market. The new devices appear to be in high demand, which is why the company has announced that TCL TVs are now available to purchase from selected Pick n Pay Hypermarket stores across the country.

“Due to popular demand of their televisions, TCL South Africa will be increasing the number of outlets to Pick n Pay Hypermarket stores where TV, sport and gaming enthusiasts can purchase the latest in Google activated screen technology with impressive refresh rates,” TCL explained in a press release sent to Hypertext.

“We’re excited to announce that our TVs are now available at 21 Pick n Pay Hypermarket stores around the country. The growth of the brand in South Africa has exceeded all expectations and this can clearly be seen by the additional physical retail outlets required,” added says TCL South Africa’s Sales manager, Muhammed Ebrahim.

The company notes that from today, the recently launched C835, C735, P735 and P635 TCL TVs, together with a few other models, will be rolled out to a number of locations across SA.

This includes Pick n Pay Hypermarket locations in Durban North, Brackenfell, Woodmead, Boksburg, Klerksdorp, Moffet, Ottery, South Coast, Soweto, Northgate, Montana, Princess Crossing, Greenstone, Centurion, Faerie Glen, Norwood, Bloemfontein, Wonderpark, Steeledale, Vaal and Witbank.

“We constantly innovate our range to bring our customers the latest and newest tech products in the marketplace. TCL is introducing world-class technology to the South African market. We are excited to bring this new Google TV to our customers through our nationwide Hypermarket network and popular online shop,” highlighted Ansgar Pabst, head of GMD Omnichannel at Pick n Pay.

With Black Friday on the horizon, not to mention the upcoming festive season, it might be worthwhile considering TCL Tvs, especially given how aggressively priced its offerings are.
