Those looking to go into 2023 by upping their art game should keep the name XPPen in mind as the digital drawing product manufacturer has some exciting products for artists of all levels.
Their titular XPPen drawing stylus and wide range of Deco graphical tablets make the perfect combo and are now available in South Africa.
The Deco range has something for everyone from beginners who just put down their very first line all the way up to professionals working in art at their nine to five.
XPPen Deco Fun
The XPPen Deco Fun range is, as you may have guessed by the name, here to make art, learning, work, design, music and just about everything else more fun.
This starts right with the selection as various sizes and colours of the Deco are available right now to suit your needs, budget and aesthetics. While we’re fans of the sleek Classic Black option we can see the appeal of the other variants: Apple green, Carmine Red and Space Blue.
While light-hearted and welcoming in design, the XPPen Deco Fun doesn’t skimp on features, and nowhere is this more apparent than the stylus. The XPPen is an innovative stylus with 8 192 levels of sensitivity for ultimate control on the drawing surface. The stylus isn’t powered by a battery or cable, but instead makes use of electromagnetic resonance (EMR) technology to function
XPPen Deco Mini
The classic picture of an artist with a palette of paint and an easel next to a water can still be true with the XPPen Deco Mini thanks to its small size and functionality.
This small but feature-rich package comes with a surface to draw on that can be used in any orientation combined with eight shortcut buttons. These buttons, combined with the tilt functionality, allows you to keep on drawing without the need to stop or wade through menus, increasing the usability while on the go.
For those who want a permanent fixture on their desk the smaller size of the Mini also means that you have more space for everything else, which is great for those who need the immense freedom of a drawing tablet as just one part of their work with more hardware at their fingertips.
XPPen Deco Pro
The XPPen Deco Pro gives you more options than ever before thanks to the array of extra interface options on one side of the tablet. There you will also find eight shortcut keys like the Deco Mini, but now accompanied by an extremely clever double wheel.
That’s right – this is actually two wheels in one, with outer and inner sections that can be used separately. Nothing goes to waste here as the top of the wheel acts as a trackpad in mouse mode for even more ways to work and play.
As you can see in the video above, the XPPen Deco Pro works not online on Windows and Mac, but also on Android.
This universal compatibility isn’t limited to the Pro, as the Deco Mini and Deco Fun also share this feature.
With so many ecosystem options, as well as seamless integration into dozens of compatible pieces of software, the XPPen Deco range works just about everywhere.
