PlayStation has a State of Play stream scheduled for tomorrow night

  • PlayStation has announced its latest State of Play update, with it scheduled to happen 23:00 local time.
  • The live streamed event will feature a big focus on Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
  • Other third-party partners are expected to present, along with more information regarding PSVR2 releases.

Today is an important one for PlayStation, as its new PSVR2 headset is now available to the public. Also on the slate for this week is a recently announced State of Play, where the company will showcase its upcoming projects, and provide much-needed updates for what’s in the works.

In a blog post published this week, PlayStation confirms that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will feature heavily. A teaser trailer, pasted below, has also been released to whet the appetite, which should also be a palette cleanser for the lacklustre Gotham Knights.

With the same studio that worked on the best Batman Arkham games helming this project, we have high hopes, despite it being delayed a handful of times already. Hopefully we will get a definitive launch date for the new property.

“Settle in for more than 15 minutes of all-new gameplay details and updates on Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, the next game from Rocksteady Studios,” explains PlayStation in its blog post.

The new Suicide Squad game is not the only thing scheduled for tomorrow evening’s State of Play, with five upcoming PSVR2 titles also scheduled for the stream. Added to this will be a word from some of the company’s third-party partners.

The stream kicks off at 23:00 local time, and is available to watch on PlayStation’s YouTube and Twitch channels. We’ve also embedded the video for the former below to help you in your search.
