- Makro is bringing back its Top Rated by Kids event for 2023, with registration now open for 250 spots.
- The event is scheduled for 15th July at Makro Riversands.
- Makro says the kids will test brand new toys and games from LEGO, Prima Toys, and Verimark.
Does your kid fancy themselves to be a budding reviewer? If so, Makro has an opportunity that may be too good to pass up. This as the retailer is hosting its Top Rated by Kids event again in 2023.
Registrations for the event are currently open here, with Makro wanting 250 children aged between six and 12 to rate the latest toys at Makro Riversands on Saturday, 15th July 2023.
“We are on the search for the best people to give advice on toys – kids! We’re calling South African kids to be part of Makro’s Top-Rated by Kids campaign task team that will help us put the coolest not-yet-released toys to the ultimate test,” explains Katherine Madley, VP of Group Marketing at Makro.
“We have had great success in hosting this event in previous years and while it is a fun experience for them, it provides us with the real insights we need from kids on what toys to choose for them,” she added in a press release sent to Hypertext.
Those 250 children selected will get the change to test out the latest toys and games from the likes of LEGO, Prima Toys, and Verimark.
Based on the ratings provided by the children on the day, the retailer will announce the Top 10 toys in an official awards ceremony and simultaneously release an official Toy guide ahead of the festive season period.
“Parents can secure a space for their children to join in the fun by registering their little expert who could be part of the Makro Top Rated by Kids experience 2023 at Makro Riversands this year here online,” the release concluded.
As mentioned registrations are currently open, and close on 25th June 2023.
