• Tomorrow, 26th July 2023, Samsung will host its latest Galaxy Unpacked event where two new foldables are expected.
• The company is hosting a live streamed event in its native South Korea, with it set to start at 13:00 SA time.
• New iterations of the Galaxy Z Fold and Flip are set to debut, along with a handful of other products.

This week the smartphone world will be focused on Seoul, South Korea, as Samsung will be unveiling its latest foldable phones at a Galaxy Unpacked event happening on 26th July.

The devices that the company is set to show off at the event are a poorly kept secret, as new iterations of its current Galaxy Z models are expected – namely the Galaxy Z Fold and Flip.

The latter seems to be getting a lot of attention, featuring in the invite for the event (seen in the header image), along with being mentioning in the theme of this week’s Galaxy Unpacked – “Join the flip side”.

It also looks like Samsung is aiming the device squarely at a younger generation of consumer, which is quite interesting given the company has used its impressive and more affordably priced Galaxy A series for that specific demographic. As such, we’d be eager to see whether younger consumers have the appetite, or indeed the pockets, to make the move from a regular smartphone to a foldable one.

All, however, will be revealed tomorrow.

For those wanting to tune into the event, which will be live streamed from Seoul, there are one of three ways to do so.

The first is Samsung’s YouTube channel, which is have the live stream up and running when the time comes at midday. The second option is Samsung’s own website, which already has a banner up that prompts visitors to register and “secure” their place for when the live stream starts.
