Security has, and always will be, a key consideration for any homeowner in South Africa.
While being cautious and taking appropriate measures is highly advised, an extra set of eyes is usually welcome, which is why smart cameras have proved an increasingly interesting piece of hardware for the home.
Acutely aware of this need, Xiaomi has a lineup of locally available smart cameras that recently entered the market, and to give Hypertext readers an idea of what they are capable of, we have four Xiaomi smart cameras to give away during the month of July.
To that end, Hypertext is giving away the:

- Xiaomi Smart Camera C200,
- Xiaomi Outdoor Camera AW200.
Our giveaway kicks off on 3rd July 2023 and will run for two weeks, closing at 23:59 on 17th July 2023. Thereafter we will select, contact, and announce the winners on Hypertext’s social media accounts.
To enter the giveaway, simply fill out the Google Form below, indicating which smart camera you’re interested in. You may enter as many times as you like, and select all four cameras, but should you win one, you will be ineligible for the others.
We use Google Forms as it is secure and stops any ne’er-do-wells from abusing the system in their favour. We also request a daytime telephone number so that we can contact the winners, but this information will not be shared or used for any purpose other than contacting winners.

We cannot ship the prize overseas. 2) No cash equivalents are available, and the prize is not transferable. 3) Employees, agents and the families of HTXT Media, Xiaomi South Africa, and Syntech Distribution are not eligible to enter. 4) Only one entry per reader will be allowed. 5) The judges’ decision is final. 6) The closing date for the competition is 17th July 2023 at 23:59. 7) By entering, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. 8) If we are unable to contact the winner within 24 hours of a decision, a new winner will be declared. 9) HTXT Media and the respective directors, members, partners, employees, agents, consultants, suppliers, contractors and sponsors assume no liability whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss or damage arising from an entrant’s participation in this competition or for any loss or damage, howsoever arising, from entry or use of the prize. 10) We will not share the data entered in the competition fields with third parties.
