Tarsus on Demand appoints new head of operations

  • Tarsus on Demand has confirmed the appointment of Landie Uys as its new head of operations.
  • Having spent the past eight years at the company, she is aiming to drive “transformative change” at the organisation.
  • Her role will also focus on making Tarsus on Demand a leading cloud platform enablement partner.

2023 looks to be a year of changes at Tarsus on Demand. In February it announced Senzo Mbhele as its new managing director, and now the cloud platform enabler has confirmed the appointment of Landie Uys as its head of operations.

Uys (pictured above) has eight years of experience working within the Tarsus on Demand environment, having been a key member of sales, operations, and technical teams at the organisation. Now in her new role, she will be tasked with making the company a leading cloud platform enabling partner in the Southern Africa region.

“Dedicated to enabling its partners to better understand and sell cloud services, Tarsus On Demand has placed renewed focus on assisting partners in its ecosystem to add value through new products and services where it matters most,” the company explained in a press release sent to Hypertext.

“The main idea is to empower partners to offer their clients a turnkey solution from the initial installation of the products all the way down to client services and customer support,” emphasised Uys.

The new head of operations went on to note that collaboration is a critical element of Tarsus On Demand, with a wide range of tools on hand to cater to all manner of business needs, particularly within the Microsoft ecosystem.

To that end, the company’s current cloud solution comprises hosting needs, storage, security, AI, and machine learning.

Unpacking what her team will be focusing on moving forward, Uys highlighted four areas in particular.

“In our operations, we will focus on four pillars: processes, policies, projects, and institutional knowledge. Ensuring clarity in our processes and fostering collaboration, we remain committed to exceptional customer service by enhancing skills and reducing response times. Our team has discovered a renewed sense of purpose. Instead of seeing themselves as merely complaint receivers, they now view challenges as opportunities to shine,” she noted.
