PlayStation SA’s Black Friday deals kick off this week

  • PlayStation South Africa has announced its upcoming specials for Black Friday 2023.
  • Its promotions will start on 17th November and run until 30th November.
  • Among the offers is R2 700 off of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition PS5 Bundle.

This November has seen Black Friday evolve from just a couple of days of deals to an entire month, as many retailers and brands look to get people into the buying spirit before the festive season kicks off in earnest.

PlayStation is no different, with the South African arm of the company confirming the key deals that will be happening later this month, as well as for how long.

To that end, the deals kick off later this week on 17th November, running until 30th November.

In terms of the deals on offer, the recently launched Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is the big ticket item, with a discounted PS5 bundle edition being highlighted by PlayStation SA.

“Black Friday deal highlights include a R2 700 saving on the Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition Bundle, R2 000 off the Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Bundle, and the Standalone PlayStation 5 Console at R11 999, a saving of R1 700,” the company confirmed in a press release shared with Hypertext.

“In the Peripherals category there are offers on most items, some of the key savings being DualSense charging stations at R499, various DualSense Controllers at R1 299 and PULSE 3D wireless headsets at R1 499,” it added.

Those wanting to pick up some exclusive games, should take note that Gran Turismo 7 (PS5) will cost R799, while God of War: Ragnarok (PS5) will be priced at R899, and Horizon Forbidden West will retail for R699.

“Black Friday offers are available from various retail outlets including, BT Games, Checkers Hyper Tech X, Computer Mania, eBucks, FNB Connect, Game, Game4U, HiFi Corp, Hirsch’s, House & Home, Incredible Connection, Expert Stores, KOODOO.co.za, Loot, Makro, The Nexus Hub, Takealot, Toys R Us, Toy Zone, and ZAPA,” PlayStation SA concluded.
