• Balwin Properties has been alerting its apartment owners and residents of discounts being offered on Samsung appliances locally.
• The promotion is part of Samsung’s Enhanced Partner Program.
• To take advantage of the promotions, you will need to be a resident of a Balwin development and have a Samsung account.

When buying into a new development, property developers often like to sweeten the offer by having key appliances pre-installed into apartments. One such property developer is Balwin, which regularly features Defy as its brand of choice, but that has not stopped it from partnering with Samsung to offer discounted products to owners and residents.

This is according to emails being sent out earlier this week, alerting apartment owners, residents, and associates that they qualify for exclusive discounts.

“Exciting news! We’ve partnered with Samsung. As a Balwin apartment Owner, Resident or Associate, you can access discounts on Samsung products. Plus, enjoy FREE delivery and flexible finance options,” the email read.

It goes on to list two examples of the exclusive discounts being made available.

Here a Samsung 65QLED 4K Smart TV is discounted to R12 499 from its regular price of R 19 999. The other deal sees an 8kg Front Loader WW80TA046AX washing machine reduced to R6 999 from its recommended price of R 10 499.

It should, however, be noted that the Smart TV above is already discounted to the R12 499 price on Samsung’s local website as part of a Blue Tag Sale promotion. The washing machine is not, so it looks like there is indeed a degree of exclusivity on appliances for Balwin apartment owners.

In order to take advantage of the deals being made available, you’ll need to visit the Samsung Enhanced Partner Program portal, where a Samsung account and proof of Balwin residency will be required.

You can also make use of the dedicated Balwin mobile app, with the following steps outlined by the property developer.
