Many South Africans will be tuning into the 2024 Golden Globes this evening as MultiChoice readies to rebroadcast the annual awards ceremony that actually wrapped up in the early hours of this morning from its usual venue in Los Angeles, California.
For those who do not wish to wait until this evening to see who took home the top honours, we’ve compiled a roundup of the award winners below, along with the other actors, directors, writers, movies, and series that were nominated across the various categories.
If the award winners are anything to go by, The Hollywood Foreign Press (HFP) had a handful of favourites on the night, with Oppenheimer, Succession, and The Bear taking most of the biggest prizes on the night.
In fact, Oppenheimer took home five awards including Best Film (Drama), as well as Best Director (Motion Picture) and Best Actor (Drama) for Christopher Nolan and Cillian Murphy respectively.
