With the new hardware now revealed to the globe, what about local fans of the Samsung brand wanting to get their hands on the S24 lineup? On that front, Samsung Mobile SA has confirmed both the local availability and recommended pricing for all three models.

The recommended pricing for the three models are as follows:

• Samsung Galaxy S24 – R22 499,
• Samsung Galaxy S24+ – R25 499,
• Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra – R32 499.

Depending on the model this represents a R1 500 to R2 00 increase in asking price compared to last year’s iteration. Those looking at contract S24 pricing can expect prices to start at R899 per month, depending on the local network operator.

The local arm of the company also confirmed that pre-orders go live in SA either later this evening or tomorrow morning, although the precise details on trade-in offers, as well as what additional product will be bundled in order to further entice pre-orders is yet to be detailed, and may vary depending on the retailer.

What is known, however, is that devices will begin shipping on 9th February and be available to purchase from then onwards in SA.
