Liquid C2 to use Anthropic’s AI to build business solutions

  • Liquid C2 has announced two new partnerships with Google Cloud and Anthropic.
  • As regards Anthropic, Liquid C2 will work directly with the firm to create AI solutions for enterprises.
  • These solutions will be accessible via the Google Cloud Vertext AI platform1

Despite the conversation around artificial intelligence centring around the capabilities of image generators and large language models for the past year and a bit, the technology has started appearing in the business world.

Big firms such as Salesforce are crafting AI applications that will enhance business operations and there is growing interest in the tech from business leaders.

Recognising this interest, Liquid C2, a Cassava Technologies company, has announced that it’s working directly with Anthropic to develop AI solutions for large enterprises. The pair will focus directly on solutions that improve productivity and revenue growth.

“By integrating AI models and services across various industries, Liquid C2 and Anthropic aim to accelerate growth for clients, further positioning Africa as a global player in the digital landscape. The collaboration presents opportunities to apply gen AI to African businesses irrespective of the industry or organisation size,” Liquid C2 wrote in a press statement.

Just this week Anthropic launched its most advanced AI model to date in Claude 3. The model is already being hailed as a major competitor to OpenAI which is widely viewed as the leader in the AI space.

In addition to working with Anthropic, Liquid C2 announced a strategic partnership with Google Cloud. This partnership will see Liquid C2 leveraging Google Cloud’s security solutions to enhance its offerings. More than that, the partnership will allow Liquid C2 customers to make use of Anthropic’s AI models through Google Cloud’s Vertex AI platform1.

“Our collaborations with Google Cloud and Anthropic signify a significant step change in our journey as Africa’s leading cloud and cyber security provider. We recognise the importance of responsible AI in enabling access to economic opportunities and empowering individuals and businesses across the continent. Our partnerships with these two leading technology firms will help us deliver AI-powered solutions that address the unique challenges and opportunities in Africa’s digital transformation journey. Together, we are setting new benchmarks for these solutions that cater to the complex needs of a diverse clientele,” co-founder and executive chairman of Cassava Technologies, Strive Masiyiwa said in a press statement.

We’re excited to see how Liquid C2 incorporates AI into its product offering, especially as the firm is based throughout Africa. This may present a demand for interesting AI applications we’ve not seen in other parts of the world. For example, AI could help an agricultural enterprise improve its processes, save water and more with help from AI.

Combined with Google Cloud, Liquid C2 appears to be setting itself up for success as technology evolves.
