MTN has announced the launch of a new subscription service specially designed for children. The MTN Play Kids Bundle features educational and entertainment content from a range of providers.

For R10 per week or R30 per month, the Play Kids Bundle is billed as a platform where parents can trust that their child can access content that entertains and educates. Content is sourced from providers such as Azoomee, Da Vinci, Disney Games, Kids Fun, and KidsWorld TV.

All of these services are available individually through MTN Play, but this bundle groups them all together for one low fee.

The content includes interactive courses, engaging quizzes, games from Disney and video content as well.

“We are excited to introduce MTN Play Kids Bundle, a unique offering that combines entertainment with learning,” says Jason Probert, general manager for Digital Services at MTN South Africa. “Our aim is to provide parents with a safe and educational platform for their children to explore and enjoy, while also being educated.”

MTN customers can take up a Play Kids Bundle subscription through the MTN Play portal or via USSD by dialing *123# and selecting option 8.

“We believe that MTN Play Kids Bundle can revolutionise the way children engage with digital content, and MTN remains committed to empowering young minds and fostering a love for learning through innovative solutions like MTN Play Kids Bundle,” adds Probert.

Parents and their kids can take advantage of a free trial but this is only one day long. Still, it gives you the chance to check the content and see if its something your child enjoys before committing to a month long subscription.

MTN Play is a burgeoning destination for digital content. Not only can you subscribe to streaming services such as Showmax and Disney+, but you can also access games, educational content and even ebooks.
