The Redmi Note 13 Series: Features we love that you may have missed

By now you should have a decent idea about the trio of phones in the Redmi Note 13 Series. We introduced them to you at the start of April and, more recently, we highlighted the best ways to buy them in several great value bundle deal contracts from Vodacom.

So today let’s dive even deeper into the features of these phones to discuss some facets that you may have missed from previous articles and reviews of the phones.

Dual speakers | Dolby | Hi-Res Audio

With the impeccable 6.67 inch AMOLED screens in the Redmi Note 13 Series, you’re going to be watching a lot of content and Redmi has worked hard to make this experience as great as possible.

That’s why the fantastic colour reproduction and true blacks of AMOLED are combined with Dolby Vision Atmos and Hi-Res Audio for the ultimate audio visual experience on mobile devices.

We also have to mention dual speakers as there’s simply no replacement for them. It’s a feature that you truly miss when watching content on a single speaker device and you don’t have to compromise here.

More than you expect in the box

These days all you can expect out of a new phone box is the phone itself. Other companies have successfully Shanghaied the industry by removing chargers and all other accessories leaving customers to pay more to buy those items separately.

For the Redmi Note 13 Series this couldn’t be farther from the truth. Each phone comes with a high wattage charger and a protective phone cover, right there in the box and for no additional charge.

Even better is the fact that the charging brick is separate from the charging cable, so you can also use this cable to connect to your PC to create backups of your important memories.

NFC and IR

The Redmi Note 13 Series has wireless options galore. On top of the high-speed Wi-Fi and Bluetooth you also get NFC and IR functionality.

More and more companies in South Africa are allowing for NFC payments so you can hit the town with nothing in your pockets or purse aside from your phone. Paying with a tap of your phone is not only faster but with the added security of the in-screen fingerprint sensor and AI Face Unlock you can do so fearlessly.

Outside of payments NFC also has more uses such as maker projects and smart home applications.

The IR blaster is another win for modern smart home integration and for DStv users, don’t forget that you can use your Redmi Note 13’s IR blaster as your remote.

And don’t you forget about the Vodacom bundle deals we mentioned right at the top. You can get the Redmi Note 13 for R329 per month for 36 months, the Redmi Note 13 Pro for R429 per month over 36 months or the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G for R699 per month for 36 months.

Make this a bundle for only R9 more per month to add a smart wearable to your contract, or just an extra R29 per month for smart home devices like Robot Vacuums, automated kitchen appliances and climate control devices.

Act fast because these deals go away come 6th May and only while stocks last.
