• MTN has announced the launch of new Yellow Plans that allow customers to purchase bundled subscription packages of anytime data and minutes to call all networks.
• The subscriptions range in price from R99 to R399 per month, and allow sharing data with up to data with up to five MTN numbers.
• The Yellow Plans are also bundled with smartphones on 24- or 36-month contracts.

As part of its move to simplify mobile internet and home internet portfolios, which began last year, MTN has announced a new offering in the form of Yellow Plans.

The network says Yellow Plans are designed to be affordable monthly subscriptions that bundle Anytime data and call minutes to any network in one neat package.

“With a clear focus on transparency, these plans introduced five new transparent plans per portfolio and removes the complexities of multiple data bundles, night data or site-specific restrictions,” notes MTN in a release sent to Hypertext.

“Yellow Plans are well aligned to the strategy of radical simplification which ushers in a new era of simplicity to MTN’s contract offers,” adds Bertus Van der Vyver, MTN SA GM for Residential and Postpaid.

The new integrated Yellow Plans will range in price from R99 per month to R399 per month across five different skews and will be available to new and existing customers. These bundled subscriptions will also give customers the ability to share data with up to five MTN numbers.

Added to this, contract customers can choose to sign up for this new offering on a month-to-month SIM-only basis with the ability to cancel at anytime, MTN confirms. These new offerings will also bundled with smartphones on a 24- or 36-month contract, and MTN is planning to launch promotions on selected devices.
