Every Z Fold6 and Flip6 detail leaked ahead of Galaxy Unpacked

  • Serial leaker Evan Blass has shared several details about Samsung’s latest foldables a week before they were set to be unveiled.
  • He has shared specifications, features, and images of the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6.
  • The only details missing at this stage are pricing and availability.

By this time next week all the devices that Samsung has planned to unveil at its latest Galaxy Unpacked event in Paris will have seen the light of day. Well whatever devices the South Korean firm was planning, minus two. This as serial leaker Evan Blass has left nothing to the imagination when it comes to the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6.

Blass shared nearly every specification, feature, and improvement on this latest generation of foldable via his Leakmail newsletter (paywall).

If the massive leak turns out to be accurate, which is likely given it comes directly from a marketing specifications sheet, we now know that the Z Fold6 and Flip6 are both lighter than previous generations while sporting larger batteries.

Added to this is the fact that the pair of foldables are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which was present in the Galaxy S24 series at the beginning of the year. This means that the foldables will feature comparable Galaxy AI features, which has been hinted at for the Unpacked marketing to date.

Other notable elements leaked by Blass include the fact that the Flip6 is sporting a larger front-facing camera at 50MP, which is a significant increase from the 12MP of the Flip5.

For now, these are the only devices slated for next week’s Galaxy Unpacked on 10th July that Blass has detailed, and hopefully, it stays that way. Samsung is also expected to showcase some wearables, specifically new smartwatches in Paris.

The company is also anticipated to share more details around the Galaxy Ring, which is a first-of-its-kind wearable for the company.

We’ve chosen to leave our coverage of the leak to that for now, as we, like many consumers, will be tuning into Galaxy Unpacked live stream next week at 15:00 local time on 10th July.

Hypertext will be sharing all the details on its X account as they are announced by Samsung Mobile South Africa, and we expect to share the local availability and pricing too, which is the only detail that Blass has left a mystery at the time of writing.
