The PlayStation 5 Pro console is no longer a myth, with it expected to be officially launched by Sony at the end of 2024. While we await an official launch window, specifications, details, and features of the PS5 Pro have slowly been surfacing online.
This past weekend was a prime example, with the upcoming console said to go beyond what ray tracing is currently capable of delivering in terms of graphics performance.
“A brand new leak from X user @Kepler_L2 details even more information that continues to drive the idea that the PS5 Pro will have comparable hardware to the finest gaming PCs, those at the very top of the range,” wrote Luis Monzon.
“The leak has been widely reported on, with the biggest piece of information being that the PS5 Pro will feature the enhanced ray tracing engine in AMD’s RDNA 4 GPU architecture,” he added.
