- Sony has announced the launch of its Winter Sale in South Africa, starting today.
- The Winter Sale will focus on selected PS5 console and bundles.
- It will run from 23rd August to 4th September via local retailers.
As we near the end of August, Sony has announced its PS5 Winter Sale for those interested in picking up the company’s current-gen console for a discounted price.
The discounts apply to selected iterations of the console, as well as bundled offers, with savings ranging between R1 000 to R1 500.
Precisely why Sony is announcing it now remains unclear, especially as South Africa’s Winter season is coming to an end, but we’ve never been ones to question discounts on what are already pricey pieces of hardware. That said, the announcement also comes a day after Xbox South Africa confirmed that the latest batch of new Series X|S consoles are not destined to launch locally.
