A ticketless parking app that found great success in recent years when physical touch was not an option at several malls across the country, admyt has just announced a strategic partnership with Hyprop Investments Limited.
The partnership aims to improve parking experiences at Hyprop’s retail centres, with admyt now being made available at over 70 locations nationwide.
“Seamless ticketless parking will be introduced to millions of shoppers at Hyprop centres, leveraging admyt’s rapidly growing user base and network of locations,” the pair highlighted in a release shared with Hypertext.
“The collaboration marks admyt’s expansion to Hyprop’s leading retail destinations, including CapeGate, Woodlands, Canal Walk, Rosebank Mall, Somerset Mall and Clearwater Mall. It further bolsters admyt’s extensive footprint nationwide, encompassing key locations like Hyde Park Corner and Table Bay Mall,” it added.

Further unpacking what the strategic partnership will entail, Hyprop noted that its installation and rollout will cover over 30 000 parking bays and 175 lanes at its retail centres.
As for admyt, the parking app has over 280 000 vehicles active on its platform processing over 4 million “parking events” annually, as the company terms them.
“admyt’s advanced parking solutions use licence plate recognition technology to streamline the parking experience, eliminating paper tickets and pay station transactions offering unparalleled convenience to users. Landlords benefit from improved operational efficiency, increased shopper satisfaction and lower parking costs,” it explained regarding how its platform works.
“The expansion of admyt locations via Hyprop makes ticketless and more sustainable parking solutions accessible to a broader audience setting a new parking standard for millions of shoppers in South Africa. admyt plans to be at every leading retail mall in the country and the rollout to Hyprop’s portfolio supports this vision,” added Kfir Rusin, co-CEO of admyt, regarding the partnership.
