Much like other social networks, LinkedIn has started using user data to train its artificial intelligence plays. This AI drives writing assistants, drafts messages and more. Thankfully users can opt out of sharing their data with the corporation.
YouTube has launched Communities a space for creators and fans to interact. The goal appears to keep these communities on YouTube rather than having creators direct them to the likes of Discord. For now YouTube is just testing this feature but plans to expand it in 2025.
MTN and ZTE have set up the first 5G ultra-range maritime offshore coverage in Mossel Bay. The project is aimed at significantly improving maritime connectivity in the region, as well as enhancing tourism, and boosting the economic prospects of local fishermen. It should also help in critical communications with ocean vessels.
