- Luno will be conducting maintenance on its app and exchange this weekend.
- The maintenance will run from 19:30 on Sunday for about an hour.
- Some Luno services will be unavailable during this time but ordinary service will resume after maintenance.
This weekend cryptocurrency heavyweights, Luno, will be conducting maintenance on both the Luno app and the Luno Exchange.
The maintenance will begin at 19:30 on Sunday and it will take approximately an hour to complete. While that’s rather short, the company has warned that some of its services and features may not be accessible during the maintenance period.
Customers will still be able to access the Luno app and you should still be able to make deposits, withdraw local currency and stake/unstake crypto. However, customers won’t be able to buy, sell or receive cryptocurrency through the Luno app during maintenance.
The Luno Exchange will be the worst affected by this maintenance.
“All trading and other transactions on the Luno Exchange will be unavailable during this time. You will not be able to place any orders on the exchange via the Website, Apps or API. Existing open orders will remain in the order book,” Luno told its customers.
Luno says that balance updates may be delayed but notes that these will be corrected once maintenance is complete.
The crypto exchange asks its customers to complete any critical transactions before or after the maintenance period. The firm’s customer support team will be on hand to assist during this time. Alternatively you can visit the Luno Status page here for additional information and updates.
“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we work to improve our services,” Luno added.
