Last week the yearly carnival that is Comic Con Africa (CCA) blew through the Johannesburg Expo Centre. As always we were on site to get a taste of the event and it left us wanting.

From long lines to confusing layouts, Comic Con Africa needs to find a bit more direction and better organisation. In the episode of Geeks Love Lists we highlight some of the problems we spotted and how the organisers can improve. Of course there is also a need for more sponsors and brands to get involved aside from the usual suspects.

All we want is the best for all of South Africa’s geeks whether they’re Magic the Gathering heavyweights or anime newcomers. We’d love to know how you think CCA could improve on Facebook and X, for future iterations.
