- The PlayStation Plus games for members to download in December have been announced.
- It Takes Two, Alien: Descent, and Temtem will be available from 3rd December.
- The November PlayStation Plus titles will leave the platform as free options on 2nd December.
While most people will be concerning themselves with gaming-related Black Friday deals over the coming days, for those with a PlayStation Plus membership, the titles that will be available to download and play for “free” have been announced.
To that end PlayStation has selected the 2021 Game of the Year winner, It Takes Two among its trio of the December PS Plus titles. It is joined by Alien: Descent and Temtem, with all three available to download and play from 3rd December until 6th January.
“It Takes Two is a genre-bending platform adventure created purely for co-op. Choose from couch or online co-op with split-screen play, invite a friend to join for free with Friend’s Pass and work together across a huge variety of gleefully disruptive gameplay challenges,” noted PlayStation in a blog post.
“Play as the clashing couple Cody and May, two humans turned into dolls by a magic spell. Together, trapped in a fantastical world where the unpredictable hides around every corner, they are reluctantly challenged with saving their fractured relationship,” it added regarding a game that proved a hit among streamers when released.
As for the other selections, they are quite different from one another. Aliens: Dark Descent is a real-time combat strategy game where players will take control of a squad of colonial marines as they try to take on, or more aptly survive, a Xenomorph outbreak on Moon Lethe.
Described as a poor man’s Pokemon, Temtem sees players try to become a tamer, while exploring the six islands of the Airborne Archipelago. This will involve discovering new species, and making friends as you, “embark on an epic adventure and make those dreams come true.”
Lastly, we should mention that the November PlayStation Plus picks – Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged, Ghostwire: Tokyo and Death Note Killer Within – will still be available until 2nd December.
