- Local distributor Tarsus on Demand has rebranded to Cloud on Demand.
- The rebrand includes a new visual identity, logo, and branding elements across all partner-facing materials, emails, platform interfaces, and the Partner Connect portal.
- The company says it “aims to deliver a more straightforward partner experience.”
A notable player in the South African channel market has announced a brand change before the year end. This as Tarsus on Demand is dropping the Tarsus portion of its name and switching to Cloud on Demand moving forward.
As the name of the new brand would suggest, the focus when it comes to local entities will be around cloud solutions and assisting customers in that regard, which recent announcements like that of becoming an AWS distributor falling in line with this.
“This rebranding initiative reflects the company’s commitment to empowering Southern African ICT resellers with innovative, simplified, and agile cloud solutions. The change is more than just a new name; it’s a symbol of our ongoing dedication to enhancing our partner experiences with greater accuracy, standardisation, and convenience,” the company explained in a release to Hypertext.
“The transition from Tarsus On Demand to Cloud On Demand underscores our unwavering commitment to a cloud-focused strategy. We want to simplify engagement for our partners, providing a seamless experience that meets the evolving needs of the ICT landscape,” added Senzo Mbhele, managing director of Cloud On Demand.
Along with the new visual identity, which included a redesigned logo (pictured above) and updated branding elements across all partner-facing materials, other aspects like emails, platform interfaces, and the Partner Connect portal will also see changes.
The company noted that this transition will happen in phases over the coming months, providing partners ample time to adjust accordingly.
“The new Cloud On Demand identity aims to deliver a more straightforward partner experience, offering better access to scalable solutions and centralised support through the Partner Connect platform.
“Partners can expect updates to branding, platform links, and resources as the transition unfolds. Importantly, access to existing platforms and login details will remain unchanged, with no interruption to services. To further ease this transition, the company has made branding guidelines, FAQs, and support resources readily available through the Partner Connect portal,” it concluded.
