Dell Pro AI Studio lets devs manage AI models and PCs at scale

  • Dell Technologies has announced the Pro AI Studio as part of its AI Factory suite of applications.
  • It will allow businesses to run AI models trained on their data locally on AI PCs.
  • The new offering features validated tools, frameworks, templates and models for developers and IT administrators to build and manage AI software.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) continues to be the primary focus of many technology companies in 2025. Last year we saw Dell Technologies launch its AI Factory for example, and now the company has added a new offering to the platform called Pro AI Studio.

Those thinking this is a feature designed to create AI-generated content would be wrong, as the Pro AI Studio is in fact aimed at businesses wanting to deploy AI applications to Dell AI PCs with greater ease and speed.

Speaking of AI PCs, the computer division of the company revealed a new lineup of offerings at CES 2025, with it also introducing a new naming convention in order to make it easier for consumers to understand what the capabilities of a device are, and who it is aimed at.

The new naming convention consists of:

  • Dell: Designed for play, school and work.
  • Dell Pro: Designed for professional-grade productivity.
  • Dell Pro Max: Designed for maximum performance.”

“Dell’s strategy to shift to simple, descriptive naming across its PC, ecosystem solutions and services portfolio brings significant value to customers amidst a complex and evolving AI PC landscape. Alongside new silicon options from AMD, in addition to Intel and Qualcomm, and new PC designs, Dell is well positioned to offer choice and help organisations futureproof for the AI era,” added Pat Moorhead, president of Moor Insights & Strategy in a release shared with Hypertext.

Shifting back to the Pro AI Studio, Dell Technologies explained that it will make AI development on PCs easier by leveraging a comprehensive AI toolkit that’s powered by NPU technology. This as it features Dell validated tools, frameworks, templates and models, which will allow developers and IT administrators to build and manage AI software far simpler and with speed, according to the company, regardless of what the underlying silicon may be.

In fact, Dell Technologies said that the new offering is, “expected to reduce development and deployment time by as much as 75%, going from six months to as little as six weeks.”

“Dell Pro AI Studio, part of the Dell AI Factory, is another example of how Dell helps enterprises right-size, implement and scale AI across various environments – from PCs to data centres. The Dell AI Factory gives customers access to an open ecosystem of technology partners to create AI applications that meet their unique needs, budgets and power requirements,” it concluded.
