• Huawei Mobile South Africa has made the new Nova 13 available to purchase locally.

Late last year, Huawei unveiled its latest mid-range smartphone offerings in the form of the Nova 13 and 13 Pro. At the time the company hinted at an early local launch for 2025, and it looks like it is set to happen in the coming days.

This as the South African Huawei online store has listed both the Nova 13 and 13i for pre-order, asking for a deposit in order to secure a device that would ship to users from 1st February onwards.

At the time of writing, there is no listing for the Nova 13 Pro, so it remains to be seen indeed when or if it will be making its way to our shores in an official capacity. More news on that front, however, is expected this week, as Huawei Mobile South Africa readers to officially launch the new mid-range phones.

In terms of the pre-order details for both devices, the Nova 13 requires a R200 deposit to secure a device with a R12 999 (RRP) need to acquire it outright, while the 13i asks for a R100 deposit and lists a R6 999 retail price.

As always, Huawei is sweetening its pre-order offer by bundling in a few accessories. Here both phones are being bundled with a Band 9 smart fitness band while stocks last, with the Nova 13 also adding a pair of FreeBuds SE 2 wireless earphones to the mix.

There are some discounted after-sales warranty offers available on the listings too.
