Just days before the official release date of the highly anticipated matric exam results for the class of 2024, the Department of Basic Education announced a breach of its system and the potential leak of the results.
This is all happening while a company called “Edumarks” is selling the results to students. At the moment the company is not believed to be involved in the breach and that the site illegally received the results due to an internal collusion.
