- Cosmetics based on The Weeknd are available for purchase again.
- These cosmetics leave the Item Shop on 22nd February.
- Hatsune Miku is still the current musical act in Fortnite.
Musical star The Weeknd has returned to Fortnite in a limited capacity with some of his cosmetics available for purchase again inside of the Item Shop.
The artist’s Combat skin is available for 1 800 V-Bucks with a variety of accessories costing between 500 and 800 V-Bucks. Alternatively you can buy all of the returning items for 3 100 V-Bucks in a bundle.
That’s quite pricey given some other bundles in the same item shop today, such as the customisable Iron Man for 2 500 that essentially gives you 16 different skins with one purchase.
Regardless, fans of The Weeknd have until 22nd February to pick up these cosmetics before they are once again removed from the store. As with everything in the Fortnite Item Shop, there’s no information about when any given items will be made available again, so the general advice is to pick up anything you really want ASAP.
While The Weeknd is simply returning as a batch of cosmetics, Hatsune Miku continues her stay in the game as the current musical icon. As with previous acts her cosmetics are available in the Item Shop for several months, only leaving on 9th April. The Music Pass associated with Hatsune Miku is also still available to purchase and play through right now.
Putting the musical acts aside, the current Item Shop has quite a lot to offer. Avatar (the James Cameron one) and Captain America are still available along with the aforementioned Iron Man. A slew of Fortnite original cosmetics are also available with some favourites of ours being Control, Boss Kōji, and the always funny Yee-Haw!.
Shogun X and several other Japanese-themed cosmetics under the current Hunters season are also available again. Their inclusion is no doubt to coincide with the recently-completed mini event that many players – us included – missed out on due to a lack of advertising from Epic Games. Thankfully you can still watch it through several uploads on YouTube.
Lastly, a wide array of emotes have also been re-added to the Item Shop, all at 500 V-Bucks a pop.
