Star Wars Day AKA May the Fourth is here again! To celebrate the occasion The Walt Disney Company Africa is not only showing the full catalogue of content on D+ and launching cool merch, but it has also given us an amazing prize we are passing on to you to make the celebrations last the whole month.
That prize is LEGO set 75379: R2-D2, a large version of the famous Droid you will build yourself using more than a thousand pieces. Once assembled your R2-D2 stands over 24 centimetres tall and it is packed with surprises, just like the real thing.
Explore the build to find a series of attachable tools and even the additional leg, giving you plenty of ways to play or display this large figure. An included information plaque and a smaller, minifigure-scale version of Artoo is included too.
Making the set even more desirable is the fact that this is part of the anniversary subtheme that celebrates 25 years of LEGO Star Wars. Because of this an extra figure with a dedicated stand is also included in the box. This figure is of Darth Malak, a name that should be familiar to fans of the Knights of the Old Republic (KOTR) games.
You can find 75379: R2-D2 at most toy stores both online and in-store where it has a RRP of R1 899, but through our competition you can win it this May!
