Last week saw Eskom implement a mix of different stages of loadshedding from 16:00 until late in the evening. This week looks to be similar as the power utility has shared its projected schedule for the seven days.
The schedule was shared via its Twitter account, where Eskom also noted that, “The stage of loadshedding for the rest of the period is dependent on returning generating units to service and will be confirmed closer to the time.”
As such, it remains a waiting game to see whether the forecasted schedule will indeed be in place as intended.
Regardless, South Africans will likely need to plan for stage 2 loadshedding from 16:00 until midnight from today 18th July until Friday 22nd July, where it is anticipated to shift to stage 1 over weekend and next week Monday the 25th.
