• The Monsterverse Fortnite Battle Pass has finally been revealed.
• Godzilla and Mothra are included.
• More Monsterverse cosmetics are rumoured for later this week.

After being revealed last year, Fortnite players finally know what Monsterverse cosmetics will be included in the current Battle Pass for the popular game.

Unlocking later this week on 17th January, a dozen Monsterverse items will be available for unlock by levelling up for those who have purchased the Battle Pass using the in-game premium currency V-Bucks.

We already knew from the official reveal that the pink Evolved Godzilla would be available, but this is also joined by the blue Energised Godzilla. A real surprise here is the inclusion of Mothra as a Glider which is a genius use of the character as the non-humanoid Mothra could have never been used as a skin.

The full Monsterverse additional Battle Pass selection is as follows:

1. Lil’ Godzilla Attack (Emote),
2. Godzilla (Loading Screen),
3. Godzilla awaits (Emote),
4. Godzilla’s Exo-Spine (Back Bling),
5. Evolved Heat Ray (Wrap),
6. Godzilla Evolved (Outfit / Skin),
7. Mothra (Glider),
8. Charged Titanus Gojira (Emote),
9. Energised Exo-Spine (Back Bling),
10. Woodblock print Godzilla (Emote),
11. Crystal Fang (Pickaxe),
12. Energised Godzilla (Outfit / Skin).

Owners of the Battle Pass will simply need to keep playing and levelling up to unlock these cosmetics, something that can be done by completing Monsterverse quests inside of the Battle Royale mode.

Players have until 3st January 2024 to play through the questline which has missions across the entire map. Each completed mission unlocks 25 000 experience points and a few of them are already available to play through. Two additional missions entitled “Hope” and “Godzilla” are only live from 17th January along with the aforementioned cosmetics.

Aside from all these official reveals, we know for certain that more Monsterverse characters will appear. King Kong (or simply “Kong” as he’s officially named in these movies) has already been added to the game in encrypted files. Some enterprising members of the community have already gained access to these files, but we can’t share links to those as they technically breach the Fornite terms of service.

We can confirm that this is the most recent version of Kong as seen in Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, complete with the yellow metal arm attachment.

Rumours have also stated that Mechagodzilla will join Kong as purchasable cosmetics inside of the Fortnite Item Shop. In the Battle pass list above, you may have noticed the “Exo-Spine” Back Blings which you can see below. We have to wonder if these are also a little tease for Mechagodzilla.

We won’t have to wait long to find all of this out, as the cosmetics will be revealed and added to the shop on 16th or 17th January.
