Having simplified fibre, Supersonic has now set it sights on mobile broadband or rather fixed LTE.
The internet service provider has today announced three new fixed LTE products which make use of MTN’s network.
“With MTN’s quality LTE network coverage sitting at 95% and a multi-billion network upgrade, there is absolutely no reason why those waiting for a fibre connection shouldn’t move to Fixed LTE,” managing director at Supersonic, Calvin Collett said.
The packages include regular any-time data as well as data specifically intended for use at night. The idea behind this, says Collett, is that folks are able to use their night time data for updates and downloads.
Package | Data | Monthly fee |
120GB F-LTE | 60GB/60GB Night Owl | R399 |
200GB F-LTE | 100GB/100GB Night Owl | R599 |
300GB F-LTE | 150GB/150GB Night Owl | R799 |
The speeds offered by Supersonic will not dip below 10Mbps, according to Collett.
The above packages are available for a three month promotional period that starts today.
The above packages do not include a router unfortunately but one can be added to your package for R69 per month. However you can make use of Huawei’s, B525, B612 and B618 routers or ZTE’s MF286 router if you have one of those.
