While Sony’s winning friends for its $399 PS4 pricetag, one small detail has been flying under the radar. The PlayStation Eye accessory, which is needed to use the Move functionality built into the new DualShock 4 controller, will be an additional accessory that costs $59 (around R600). Microsoft will include a Kinect sensor with every Xbox, which is one the reasons it has a $100 higher retail price compared to Sony’s console.
Those hoping to play any Move-enabled games should take heed, the first title you buy might end up being twice the price if you still need to pick up a Move camera.
