From the beginning of July Xbox gamers will be able to pick up Gotham City Impostors as part of Microsoft’s monthly Games with Gold packages. Every month, the gaming and console makers releases two titles on Xbox 360 for free, so all you have to do is simply download it.

The first game for the month will be Gotham City Impostors, a multiplayer, first-person shooter based on DC Comics’ Batman universe.

“Here, two teams of six players face off against each other using a variety of Batman- and Joker-themed weapons in good ol’ deathmatches. Raucous fun, and plenty of it to be had for fans of blowin’ stuff up,” Microsoft South Africa said in a press statement.

Gotham City Impostors is only available from 1 to 15 July, but thereafter until the end of the moth you will be able to download yourself a free copy of BattleBlock Theater.

“You’ve got nowhere to go but up … on stage. Play single player or co-op to free your friends and save Hatty Hattington! Jump, solve and battle your way through a mysterious theater inhabited by highly technological felines,” Microsoft explained.

Previously games like Halo: Spartan Assault, Max: The Curse of Brotherhood and Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition were all part of the same scheme.
