Most are back at work today after an extended long weekend, and while we were spared loadshedding during the Easter period, there is a good chance the lights might go off later.
In a tweet and Facebook post early this morning, state power utility Eskom warned that there is a high probability of loadshedding today.

It added that things could change during the course of the day, if demand increases or lowers.
“As the power system is constrained and vulnerable any unexpected changes could lead to #load_shedding at short notice,” it said in the Facebook post.
