Since nearly everything else in the world has its own official day, why not 3D printing?

December 3rd has been unofficially declared 3D Printing Day and the world’s makers have been sweating over their heat beds to make some solid prints for the day.

As the day progresses (and the rest of the world wakes up) keep a close eye on the #3DPrintingDay hashtag on social media to see what the world is up to.

We attended one of the local events and got to see what local makers were up to for the special day.

If you couldn’t make it, or need inspiration, check out the gallery below.

Did you print something today? Show us! Use the #3DPrintingDay hashtag and head on over to Twitter or Instagram
