Are you a student in the science, technology, engineering, arts, or mathemamatics (STEAM) fields or someone who’s interested in them? The American Corner MakerSpace in Pretoria is throwing an event with MathsGenius to tickle the old grey matter this January, and it promises to tackle everything STEAM.

Attendees will be in the capable hands of Edzai C. Zvobwo, an ward-winning author, mathematician and business strategist who will be hosting the “The Mathematical Genius in You” workshop on the day.

The event is aimed at students, teachers and parents, but is open for anyone to attend, for free. As with events of that nature, seats are limited so you’ll need to follow the link below soon to guarantee yourself a seat.

This event is also connected to an opening at the MakerSpace for a volunteer maker programme facilitator. The role involves helping young people become engaged in the maker movement as well as instructing them on how to lead in the future.

If that sounds like you, send an email to edzai [AT] mathsgenius  [DOT] co [DOT] za for more information.
