Udacity and Nutanix partner up to offer a Hybrid Cloud Nanodegree

The Hybrid Cloud is the next big trend for cloud tech, but given how rapidly technology evolves, the lack of skills in this regard may be a concern worth addressing.

As it so happens, Nutanix has announced a partnership with online learning platform Udacity. The partnership sees the introduction of a Hybrid Cloud Nanodegree.

The course will focus on four subject areas, namely:

The course is primarily for IT professionals looking to increase their skillset and of course, keep up with the evolving world of tech.

“One of our primary goals at Nutanix is to ensure that cloud technology professionals continue to stay on the cusp of innovation in this developing field,” chief information officer at Nutanix, Wendy Pfeiffer said in a statement.

To that end, Nutanix is offering up 5 000 scholarships. The first phase of this scholarship will see 5 000 students participating in the Hybrid Cloud Fundamentals course, from there, 500 of the top performing students will be awarded a full Hybrid Cloud Nanodegree scholarship.

“We’re delighted to team up with Nutanix, a pioneer and leader in the cloud computing field, to create the new, cutting-edge Hybrid Cloud Nanodegree program,” chief executive officer at Udacity, Gabe Dalporto said in a statement.
