The national lockdown has thrown a number of events and launches out of whack, but as government cautiously lifts restrictions some semblance of normality is returning.
One launch that was thrown out of whack is that of the Huawei P40 series.
Back in March Huawei unveiled the smartphone to locals and had tentatively set mid-May as the release date for the device.
Of course seeing as we’re now at the tail-end of May that release date has come and gone, but Huawei has today announced the handset will be available from 1st June in South Africa.
While the release date has shifted slightly, South Africans will be pleased to know that the recommended pricing has remained at the point it was when the handset was announced in March.

While it does take some getting used to, our Robin-Leigh Chetty found it to be a serviceable experience so long as you can deal with the growing pains of not being able to make use of some Google applications.
