Hisense makes new lineup of ULED 2021 TVs available locally

With Black Friday kicking off this week, people across the country are likely eyeing a big purchase on an item that should be newly discounted for the seasonal sale.

One such item is a TV and Hisense have a new lineup of 2021 ULED models to consider, although whether retailers offer them for less remains to be seen.

For now, Hisense has split its ULED into Classic, Elite and Premium, with sizes, features and pricing differing between the three segments. The Classic starts at R11 999 (RRP) with 55″ and 65″ models available.

From there things pick up a bit with the Elite range starting at R13 999 and featuring 55″, 65″ and 75″ variants. Lastly the Elite lineup starts at R14 999, topping out with a 85″ (85U8G) model that retails for a recommended R44 999.

In terms of the technology that these different lineups are sporting, the Classic keep things simple with full array local dimming, 60Hz native refresh rates and support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.

As for the more expensive Elite options, 700 nit peak brightness is present, as well as quantum dot displays. The Premium flavours bump up peak brightness to 1 000 nits, while also adding 120Hz refresh rates, along with a Gaming and IMAX Enhanced mode.
