So the rumoured reports for Samsung’s first 2022 Galaxy Unpacked event were off by 24 hours. This as the South Korean company has confirmed that its first Galaxy Unpacked is set for 9th February at 17:00 local time.

While the precise nature of the devices that Samsung plans to unveil on the day have been leaked in part, we still do not know what the finished product looks like at the time of writing, but that may change as we get closer to 9th February.

What we do know is that the Galaxy S22 series will feature, with hints continuing to be dropped that Samsung is incorporating elements of its Note devices to the upcoming lineup of flagship phones.

“True innovations don’t just evolve with the world – they help shape it. To create the devices that push us ahead, rewrite the future, and bring light to the dark, we must continue to break the rules of what’s possible with a smartphone,” noted the firm in a blog post.

“Join Samsung Electronics on February 9, 2022 for the next Galaxy Unpacked, as we set an epic new standard for smartphones with the most noteworthy S series ever created,” it added.
