With February proving to be a good month for enjoying new games, March 2022 is also shaping up nicely, provided your wallet can handle it.
For those who want to make the most of their subscription service and dip into archives, there are also some notable releases coming to the likes of PlayStation Plus and Xbox Game Pass in the month of March 2022.
With that in mind, here’s what you need to be on the lookout for on those respective platforms.
Starting with PS Plus and the big arrival for March 2022 is of course Ghost of Tsushima: Legends.
For anyone who enjoyed the combat of Ghost of Tsushima and want to test their mettle against other would-be Ghosts, this multiplayer co-op comes highly recommended. It is also available to those with a PS5 or PS4 console.
Joining Legends is Ghostrunner on the PS5, along with Sonic Racing and Ark: Survival Evolved as PS4 exclusives on PS Plus. All four titles will be accessible from 1st March onwards, with February’s titles unable to download after the 28th.
Shifting to Game Pass, which is still the best bang for you buck in gaming given the recent price reduction in South Africa, the growing number of titles available to both Xbox and PC players on the platform will see five new additions for March 2022.
This could change, however, as Microsoft likes to add more titles as the month progresses.
The five titles currently earmarked are FAR: Changing Tides on 1st March, snowboarding game Shredders on 17th March, day-one release Memoir Blue on 24th March, Middle Ges RTS title Crusader Kings 3 on 29th March and Weird West rounding off the month on 31st March.
