How to watch today’s Samsung Galaxy Unpacked livestream

Later today, 17:00 local time to be more exact, Samsung will host its first Galaxy Unpacked event of 2022. Over the past couple of weeks, the South Korean firm has building up the event, where the new Galaxy S22 series is expected.

There are likely a few other devices on the way, with the heavy VR themed elements of this year’s Unpacked potentially pointing to something being revealed on that front.

For now though, and despite several substantial leaks, Samsung has not officially unveiled anything concrete.

That will change this evening, however, and for those who wish to tune into the livestream, there are a number of different avenues.

The most straightforward, is to tune into the livestream on Samsung’s YouTube channel or its website, the latter you can register for here.

The company will also make the live stream accessible via Twitter, on the Samsung Mobile account when 17:00 rolls around.

The same goes for TikTok and Twitch, with Samsung also recently being named a device partner for the latter and its Rivals events.

Lastly, and perhaps the option that will most immersive, but require some admin and hardware, Samsung will be simulcasting a VR event for Unpacked. The virtual venue is a digital recreation of its New York City flagship store and is called 837X, with Decentraland handling access to the experience.

If that does not interest you, you can always check in on the Hypertext home page where our dedicated Galaxy Unpacked hub will feature all the latest news, announcements and local details from the event. We will also be live tweeting everything as it happens on our Twitter account.
