We should see new Galaxy A phones from Samsung this week

Samsung’s Galaxy S22 series is now available to purchase in South Africa, but if those new flagship options are outside of your budget, the South Korean firm may have some Galaxy A devices on the way.

This as it has sent out invites to a virtual live stream come 17th March at 16:00 local time.

“The Galaxy A series is Samsung Electronics’ most popular smartphone category, leading the democratization of Galaxy innovations that is giving people the power to create, connect and thrive,” the company noted in a blog post.

“This year, Samsung is taking the impactful Galaxy innovations for the A series even further. The awesome new Galaxy A series devices are designed to provide the fully-loaded experience that people want from a smartphone,” it added.

As far as what devices will be showcased this week Thursday, Samsung has remained relatively mum on the subject, but last year this time we saw the company debut three new mid-range offerings, with some flavours supporting 5G too.

As such, we will more than likely see refreshes or updates to the Galaxy A52 and A72.

If you are interested in seeing what new wares Samsung has to offer, you can tune into the latest Galaxy A event on the company’s YouTube channel at 16:00 on 17th March.
