Advance ticket sales for Thor: Love and Thunder have now gone on sale in South Africa, and, not only can you secure a ticket to see the movie during the worldwide release on 8th July, but you can also see it a day early.

Local showings of Thor: Love and Thunder actually start on 7th July with screening happening around the country from 19:00 local time in many theatres.

Both Ster-Kinekor and Nu Metro have these early showings open right now.

For those who want to catch this early screening it’s worth noting that, while the official start time is 19:00, not all theatres will be sticking to it.

The closest theatre to us, for example, has its screening a bit later at 20:00 instead.

With a runtime of just over two hours it’s worth keeping the starting hour in mind.
Also worth remembering is the type of showings available. All the theatres showing it nearby are only offering 3D tickets for 7th July.

It’s best to click around until you find a time, location and type of showing that suits you, even if that means the early 7th July option isn’t the best.
