Fortnite x Marvel: Zero War, a limited-run comic book series that ties into the videogame, is set to kick off today on 8th June and Epic Games has revealed a new Spider-Man costume to go along with it.
“The Fortnite x Marvel: Zero War issues will be available in print at comic stores and digitally via the Marvel Comics app and Marvel Unlimited. Each issue includes a code for a Fortnite cosmetic item redeemable at fortnite.com/redeem. The first issue releases on June 8, 2022, and includes a code for a Spider-Man-based Outfit!” an announcement reads.
To make sure people keep coming back to the comic over its five-issue run, Epic Game has assigned each issue its own cosmetic.
The full breakdown of the release schedule is as follows. “Comic-exclusive” items below will only ever be available through the codes in the comics, while the non-exclusives will be added to the in-game shop at a later date.

For those who don’t want to miss any of the cosmetics we suggest reading over the FAQ for Fortnite x Marvel: Zero War ahead of time.
All of this may seem oddly familiar even though it’s new. That’s because Epic Games has done almost the exact same thing – the crossover comic with game codes, limited-time cosmetics, the name Zero, etc – with DC.
Back in April 2021 this exact same premise was done with Marvel’s rival in the form of Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point.
Those not familiar with comic books may find this a bit lazy for all parties involved but Marvel and DC both have a long history of copying each other so this really is par for the course.
