12 000 FNB and RMB customers have started a Udemy course

Earlier this year Udemy announced that it had partnered with FNB to bring its digital learning courses to the bank’s customers.

Since that partnership, some 12 000 FNB and RMB Private Bank customers have taken up a Udemy course. These courses can cover a variety of skills from project management to public speaking.

“We’ve had an incredible take-up and our customers now also trust us to help them achieve their goals with new skills through a digital learning solution,” says Business Support head at eBucks, Graeme Parsons.

FNB and RMB Private Bank customers can enrol in up to six courses per year from a curated list of 400, at a cost of just R50 per course when enrolling through the FNB app. To provide even more value, courses can be purchased using eBucks.

The demand for innovative financial services and online learning solutions will continue to grow as the world digitises and firms take advantage of new technologies to improve the customer experience. Convenience is driving adoption and the partnership between FNB and Udemy is an example of customer-centric innovation.

“We’re proud to offer content created by real-world experts that empowers individuals and organisations to achieve their goals,” says senior vice president of marketing at Udemy, Llibert Argerich. “We believe that up-skilling and re-skilling can enhance productivity and help FNB customers adapt to a rapidly changing professional landscape.”
