This afternoon, at 15:00 to be more precise, Samsung will host its latest Galaxy Unpacked event, with the South Korean manufacturer set to unveil its latest lineup of foldable phones.
Based on what we have seen shared by Samsung to date we should see new iterations of its current foldable phones – namely the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4. There is also talk of a new smartwatch, along with rumours of the company debuting something entirely new, with a foldable tablet being touted.
While it remains to be seen whether the latter devices will indeed be revealed, this latest event will at the very least serve as a reminder that Samsung is still dominating in the niche foldable space. This as the likes of Huawei and other Chinese firms are not as far along with their respective foldable plans as Samsung are.
As such, it will be interesting to see how the company will improve upon past iterations with these new variants of foldable phone.
