PlayStation launches PC site, fans keep asking for Bloodborne

Sony has a new website to consolidate its PlayStation games ported over to PC which, while helpful, has once again stirred up hopes for Bloodborne.

On Reddit, for example, a post discovering the website on the subreddit /r/BloodbornePC is entitled in part “Surely they’ll bring one of their most acclaimed and wanted exclusives to PC, right?”.

On /r/Games there are similar calls for a port of the FromSoftware Lovecraftian title as it’s one of the most beloved games ever made and, for many people, their favourite title from the company.

Bloodborne is, unfortunately, not listed on the site. Instead it only provides two sections for games: now available and coming soon.

Now Available

  • God of War
  • Horizon Zero Dawn
  • Days Gone
  • Predator Hunting Grounds
  • Helldivers

Coming Soon

  • Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered
  • Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales
  • Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection

We wouldn’t be surprised if Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is the reason this page was put up recently as it’s launching tomorrow on 12th August.

This page makes it easy for Sony to point to when more games are released onto PC in the future.

The page also offers a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) segment which has some interesting pieces of information, though not as much information as we’d like.

For example there’s a question about pricing of games on PC and the only answer provided is that it “varies by title”. Back to Spider-Man now and many people were confused by the full $60 price for an older game and then the mixup with regional pricing that made the game even more expensive than that in certain territories.

Some kind of explanation about this strange pricing structure would have been appreciated but is not provided.

As for Bloodborne and many other PlayStation exclusives coming to PC, all we can do is wait and read this answer to the question about upcoming ports:

“Stay up to date on new announcements on PlayStation’s Twitter and Instagram, and check back here to learn more about new PlayStation Studios games coming to PC,” the FAQ reads.
